Modeling, so far so good. It’s a lot of fun and allows me to put the highly filled inventory to use. I gotta hustle a bit...get in my big girl shoes and get moving. I need to update my portfolio and get some pics done asap. I am starting to enter contests which is a good thing. Ok so I admit I was expecting to encounter some real divas (not a compliment) while modeling. The ladies have been pretty cool and I am making some friends. Yay! I am new but I will stay positive until faced w/ a monster model.
I aim for the best in all things so I attended Moda Modeling School. I learned a lot...they are all about precision and details I like that. Better to do the extra work and make it look easy and seamless right?
I am just now starting to visit agencies, do casting calls and go-sees. So many agencies are just a promise of something wonderful and do not do much at all. So I will wade through them slow and steady. I am even going to enter the dreaded SL Modeling Contests as I find ones that are reputable. Which let’s face it can be a job in and of itself.
I entered the Make it Work 2 Modeling Contest, its still going on but I am one of 12 finalists. I will cross everything but my eyes (they might stay that way) that I do well in the runway part of that contest. I did what I thought was a cute styling of a capri outfit. I went retro it was cute.
I applied to be a Moda Spotlight model it was a pretty long interview process. I think I did ok. We will see :) Perhaps they think I am as cute and wity as I think I am. That would be great.
I will find myself a photographer because even as I practice my photos leave a bit to be desired.
